The open-source project

Design intent.
Documented clearly.

OpenLintel is exploring how residential design professionals can keep design decisions, drawings, and material information connected—with professional review at each stage.

Why this project exists

A room moves through conversations, visual directions, drawings, specifications, and approvals. The project focuses on the information between those steps: what is known, what changed, and what still needs review.

The resource library provides editable starting points and worked examples while the application remains in active development.

Who is accountable

OpenLintel is maintained through its public source repository. The contribution history records public code contributions; it should not be read as a list of qualified design reviewers.

This website does not currently publish verified staff biographies or claim independent professional review. Those details will be added only with the people’s permission and the actual scope of their involvement.
